KARACHI: Gold prices on Saturday inched down but silver was firm on the local market, traders said.

Gold was available for Rs222800 per tola and Rs191015 per 10 grams, after down by Rs100 and Rs85, separately.

Silver was traded for Rs2750 per tola and Rs2357.68 per 10 grams.

On the world market, gold prices stood for $1962 per ounce and silver for $24.64 per ounce, traders said.
