Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has on Tuesday carried transfer and postings of its officials. According to a notification, Muhammad Imran, Assistant Director (Law), working in Directorate of Land Development-I, LDA, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director Law (Civil Court) in his own pay and scale in Directorate of Law.
However, his posting against senior post is purely a stop gap arrangement and this order will in the way confer any right upon the said officer to claim seniority/regular promotion. Muhammad Ajmal Khan, Assistant Director (Law), working in Directorate of Law, has been transferred and posted as Assistant Director (Law) in Directorate of Land Development-I vice Muhammad Imran already transferred.
The competent authority has also entrusted the Administrative Control of all Deputy Directors Law and Assistant Directors Law to Director Law, LDA. The transfer/postings of all Deputy Directors Law/Assistant Directors Law will henceforth be made upon the recommendation of Director Law, LDA. In addition, Director Law, LDA will countersign the ACRs of all Deputy Directors Law and Assistant Directors Law and the Director concerned will be the initiating/reporting officer. In case of contractual Assistant Directors Law/Law Officers, Director Law will sign the Performance Evaluation Report in addition to reporting officer.
Meanwhile, LDA Additional Director General Mariam Kayani has granted extension in contract appointment of Imran Sarwar, Assistant Director (Computer), LDA, for further three years from September 19, on the same terms and conditions as mentioned in his appointment letter. Extension has also been granted in contract appointment of Waqas Noor, Estate Officer, LDA, presently working in the Directorate of Estate Management-I from August 28, 2012, to September 29, 2012, on the same terms and conditions, as mentioned in his appointment letter.
