KARACHI: Gold prices on Wednesday witnessed a huge increase but silver was firm on the local market, traders said. Gold prices shot up by Rs 2,900 to Rs 236,400 per tola and Rs 2,486 to Rs 202,675 per 10 grams.

Silver was traded for Rs 2,850 per tola and Rs 2,443.41 per 10 grams.
