Dacoits took away Rs 2.8 million from the employees of money exchange company in Khiyaban-e-Ittehad Commercial area falling in the limits of Gizri police station. Police said that armed robbers intercepted security guards of a private money exchange company when they were leaving a local bank situated in Khiyaban-e-Ittehad after withdrawing money. When a guard, Muneer, offered resistance, the robbers opened fire on him, resultantly he sustained bullet injuries.
The dacoits took away Rs 2.8 million. Police started further investigation into the incident.
