PAJCCI team to leave for Kabul on October 7

A 31-member delegation of Pakistan and Afghanistan Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PAJCCI) will leave for Afghan capital Kabul (Afghanistan) on Sunday (October 7). President, PAJCCI, Mohammad Zubair Motiwala will lead the delegation.
During the visit, the delegation will hold talks with the stakeholders of Afghanistan on Afghanistan-Pakistan Transit Trade Agreement (APTTA) and bilateral trade between both countries. The delegation in meetings with their Afghan counter-parts will also review the effects of the new agreement on bilateral trade.
The delegation will be comprised of Usman Bashir Bilour, Zia-ul-Haq Sarhadi, Engineer Daro Khan Achakzai, Faiz Mohammad, Khalid Shehzad, Arooj Ahmad Ansari, Junaid Ismail Makda, A.Q. Khalil, Haji Hameedullah, Haji Abdul Hameed Kakar, Talat Mehmood, Niaz Mohammad, Afaq Jamal, S. Mohammad Ali, Syed Mohammad Akram, Mohammad Arif Kamsani, Mohammad Bilal, Hassan Ahmad, Ibrahim Qasim, Malik Mohammad Ishfaq Awan, Osama Aziz Siddiqui, Tahir Khaleeq, Abdul Wahid, Shahid Hussein, Jawad Adil, Hamza Bin Tariq, Naveed Jan Baloch, Ali Mohammad Morani, Mohammad Zohaib Motiwala, Abdul Shakoor Motiwala, secretary general Faiza Nasir and other members.
The delegation besides holding meetings with stakeholders and Afghan ministers for finance, communications, commerce, agriculture and others, will also visit Afghan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Pakistani embassy and other important institutions in Kabul.
The trading community of Pakistan have big expectations from the visit of the delegation, particularly for the resolution of problems emerged in wake of the new trade agreement. The bilateral trade negotiations will be focused on the promotion of bilateral trade, restoration of banking system in Afghanistan, exchange of trade delegations, extending of facilities to the business community of both sides and other matters. The negotiations will go long way in the promotion of Pak-Afghan trade relations.
