Rabi Kisan Mela will start from Sunday (today) at University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) here. This was stated by a spokesman of the university here Saturday.
A number of events including visit to exhibition on +ACI-modern technique for Rabi Crops, Demonstration of Agri.Machines/ Implements+ACI- at D-Ground UAF, Field Workshop/Training Workshop on Sericulture at Old Senate Hall, Kisan Convention at Iqbal Auditorium, distribution of wheat, moringa, vegetables and canola seeds, capacity building workshop for the researches of public +ACY- private organisations and the demonstration of agri machinery and implements launching of one-year Postgraduate Diploma Course on Food Safety Inauguration of Canola
Sowing and Kabddi Match at university ground are the salient features of the Kissan Mela, he said.
