Razzaq blames Hafeez for his ouster

Differences in Pakistan cricket team become visible when All-rounder Abdul Razzaq told reporters here on Saturday that skipper Muhammad Hafeez dropped him from the side playing against Sri Lanka in the first semi-final of World Cup Twenty20 match. Abdul Razzaq said it was captain's decision to drop him from the side. He said, "Wasim Akram advised Hafeez to include me in the team but Hafeez decided otherwise. Hafeez thinks himself to be a greater captain than Wasim Akram," he said.
To another query, he said, Hafeez should be asked the question on what grounds he dropped me. According to Razzaq, "Sri Lankans were happy when they had learnt that I have not been included in the side." Sri Lankan considers Pakistan's middle order strong enough," he added.
Razzaq said there was no issue of his fitness. "Had I was in the team, I would have won the match for Pakistan," he said. On the other hand, Pakistan Cricket Board has taken notice of Razzaq'a media talks and got necessary details. Abdul Razzaq's outburst against skipper Hafeez is violation of PCB's Code of Conduct.
