AmanSports is organising its first All Karachi School Basketball Championship at Southshore School on Sunday. AmanSports, which is a part of the Aman Foundation, aims to engage Pakistan's youth in sporting activities through the promotion of sports at a grassroots level. In order to catalyze sports at The Citizens Foundation, AmanSports previously organised two sporting events.
The Basketball Championship is the first of a chain of city-wide sporting events that it plans to hold in schools throughout the year. Fifty-four teams (under-17 and under-19) representing reputable schools from all around the city will participate in the tournament.-PR
