ISLAMABAD: The Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) has assured the business community to resolve the multiple issues of registration, show cause notices, withholding tax, and tax compliance.
In this regard, a meeting was held between Commissioner PRA Rawalpindi Tahira Javaid with her team, and Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI).
Commissioner PRA Javaid said that the PRA aims at providing maximum facilities to taxpayers.
She appreciated the RCCI’s role for providing platform to address the grievances of traders and also welcomed the suggestions including incentivizing credit and debit payments, compliance, appeals, audit and social protection of taxpayers.
The visit was welcomed by Saqib Rafiq, President of RCCI, and Hamza Saroosh, Senior Vice President of RCCI, along with Faraz Fazal Sheikh, advocate and Chairman of the PRA committee.
Sohail Altaf, Group Leader of RCCI, presented the pertinent issues faced by the registered members of the Rawalpindi chapter. Faisal Shahzad, Vice President of RCCI, extended a vote of thanks to the dedicated team from PRA and all the attendees.
