LAHORE: A rally was held at the King Edward Medical University (KEMU) which was led by caretaker provincial health minister, Prof. Dr. Javed Akram, against the atrocities committed by Israel on Palestine.
The participants of the rally, who were carrying placards, expressed solidarity with the Palestinians.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Javed Akram said they strongly condemn the atrocities committed by Israel on the innocent people of Palestine.
The Islamic countries should take notice of it and immediately stop the aggression by Israel. Thousands of innocent people are being martyred in Palestine on a daily basis due to Israel’s bombing, he added.
“Today the entire doctors’ community is expressing solidarity with the Palestinian brothers and sisters,” he said. “We don’t have guns, we have medicines, and we will provide practical health care.”
