KARACHI: Gold prices on Monday inched down on the local market, but silver stood firm, traders said. Gold prices reduced by just Rs 400 to Rs 214200 per tola and Rs 343 to Rs 183642 per 10 grams.

Silver was traded for Rs 2580 per tola and Rs 2211.93 per 10 grams. International silver price was quoted as $ 23.20 per ounce.
