Dr Dur Muhammad Pathan, a renowned author and intellectual of Sindh, has announced to return Presidential Award in protest against new local government law. The author was conferred President's Pride of Performance Award last year.
Dr Dur Muhammad announced returning the Award while addressing a demonstration of Sindhi nationalist authors and intellectuals outside the press club in Larkana on Sunday. A large number of nationalist intellectuals had gathered there to reject Sindh Peoples Local Government Act.
