Government urged to release funds for girls' educational institutions

Peoples' Students' Federation (PSF) Women Wing, Chitral chapter President Bibi Jan demanded of the government and party leadership to pay attention towards problems facing female students in Chitral, and forthwith release developmental funds for the uplift and development of female educational institutes.
Addressing a news conference here on Monday here at press club, Bibi Jan said that PPP Women Wing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Asma Alamgir had visited district Chitral last year, where she announced provision of one bus to Government Girls Degree College Chitral, but yet to materialise the announcement, she added. She said that more than 1,400 female students were studying at the government girls' degree college, and most of whom facing numerous difficulties while coming from far-flung areas. The party provincial president had also announced 10 million rupees fund for the construction of Women vocational training center in the far-flung less and developed district of the province, she maintained.
The PSF Women Wing District President said that she had visited the house of PPP Women Wing provincial president to remind the commitment she made with the students of Chitral, but to no avail, she lamented. The other political parties in the government have also offered her to extend funds for the development of the girls degree college, but she refused, as she was a true political activist of PSF. She demanded of the party central leadership to take notice of the miseries facing the female students and immediately release funds for a school bus and construction of women vocational center in the Chitral. She also threatened to hold a set-in in protest infront of President House in Islamabad, if the problems facing the students of Chitral were not listened.
