ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has reportedly conferred military awards upon 41 officials of armed forces. According to media reports, the highest military awards ceremony was held in the President’s House (Awan-e-Sadr).
Those who were conferred Hilal Imtiaz (Military) were Lieutenant General Mohsin Qureshi, Air Marshal Abdul Moeed Khan, Air Marshal Tariq Zia, Air Marshal Ghulam Abbas Ghamman, Major General Shoaib Ahmed, Major General Naseer Ahmed, Rear Admiral Habib Rehman, Major General Shazia Nisar, Major General Ijaz Ghani, Major General Nadeem Ahmed Rana, Major General Wasim Ahmed Khan, Major General Arshad Naseem, Rear Admiral Syed Ahmed Salman, Major General Arshad Mehmood, Major General Atif Mansha, Major General Javed Dost Chandio, Major General Muhammad Irfan, Major General Asif Hussain, Major General Shahryar Parvez Butt, Air Marshal Zafar Islam, Major General Imranullah, Rear Admiral Jawad Ali, Rear Admiral Abdul Muneeb, Rear Admiral Faisal Amin, Major General Mohammad Raza, Major General Ishaq Khattak, Major General Chaudhry Aamir Ajmal, Major General Jawad Ahmad Qazi, Major General Ahmed Bilal, Major General Iftikhar Hussain Chaudhry, Major General Ehsan Ali, Major General Kamran Nazir Malik, Major General Wajid Aziz, Major General Muhammad Umer Bashir, Major General Asad ur Rehman Afzal Cheema, Major Gen Mushtaq Ali, Major General Muhammad Imtanan Babar, Major General Muhammad Farhan Yousaf, Rear Admiral Syed Faisal Ali Shah, Major General Ahsan Altaf and Major General Abeena Choudhry.
Satara Basalt was conferred upon Captain Abdul Wali Shaheed which was received by his father.
