17 Oct, 2012

Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has condemned the ruthless killing of four people belonging to the Hazara community in Quetta by armed terrorists. He demanded of the government to take severe notice of the cold-blooded murder and bring the perpetrators to justice. He extended sympathies to the bereaved families and prayed Allah to rest the departed souls in eternal peace.
Meanwhile, paying glowing tributes to the first prime minister of Pakistan on his 61st death anniversary, Mr Hussain said that the services and sacrifices rendered by Khan Liaquat Ali Khan for the Pakistan movement and for the emergence of Pakistan on the world-map as an independent country could never be forgotten. Altaf said that the assassination of Shaheed-i-Millat Liaquat Ali Khan was a tragic incident of the history of Pakistan.
ALtaf Hussain said it was a national tragedy that the circumstances behind his assassination were still shrouded in mystery. Liaquat Ali Khan wanted to see Pakistan in the line of advanced and developed countries of the world, but he was mercilessly killed in a public meeting in Rawalpindi.
