Pakistan Muslim League-N's (PML-N) member National Assembly Hamza Shahbaz Sharif has said that Supreme Court has given a historic decision in Asghar Khan case and the nation should wait for the facts to unfold. He said that a transparent inquiry should be conducted in the light of the decision of Supreme Court so that the nation could hold the elements responsible for corruption accountable.
Strongly supporting the decision of Supreme Court, he congratulated the judiciary and the masses on this historic decision. He said that Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif by setting an example from his house had proved that PML-N believed in the supremacy of law and there was no difference between Hamza Shahbaz Sharif and a common man on the issue of equality before the law.
He expressed these views at the inaugural ceremony of the Model Bazaar of City District Government comprising 152 shops constructed at a cost of Rs 20 millions at Thokhar Niaz Beig and later talking to media men here on Friday. Chairman Model Bazar, Malik Afzal Khokhar MPA, Malik Saiful Malook Khohar MNA and a large number of PML-N workers were present on the occasion. Hamza Shahbaz said that future of the nation depends on the youth and PML-N was more interested in honourable means of livelihood for the youth than acquisition of power.
