Eid security plan for Multan evolved

The district administration has evolved a security plan for the upcoming Eidul Azha and Muharram to thwart the vicious designs of terrorists. This was disclosed by DCO Naseem Sadiq while addressing a meeting of the DPC here at Circuit House on Tuesday. He asked the clerics from all schools of thoughts to shun their differences and exhibit solidarity to eliminate sectarian hatred from society. He added that there would be a strict ban on the use of loud speakers during Moharram and the violators would be dealt with sternly.
He said that a campaign would be launched against wall chalkings and provocative posters. He asked the clerics to cooperate with the district administration for maintaining peace in the coming days. CPO Aamer Zulfiqar said that the police would evolve a comprehensive security and surveillance plan for the coming events.
