AK WS sets up machines to diagnose AIDS, Hepatitis

Al-Khidmat Welfare Society has set up E-170 modular diagnostic machines to examine patients suffering from HIV Aids, Hepatitis A, B and C disease. The facility will also help diagnose immunisation tests. The diagnostic machine has been added at the Al-Khidmat Hospital Nazimabad, which the Al-Khidmat Welfare Society is running. The robotic diagnostic machine has the capacity to examine 180 tests an hour at low charges.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, Deputy Speaker Sindh Assembly, Shehla Raza hoped that the new facility would provide the poor with medical care relief and diagnose the fatal diseases. "Jamaat-e-Islami and Al-Khidmat through their honesty and crystal clear delivery system have garnered the public's trust," she said.
She also praised the contribution of Al-Khidmat for society, saying Al-Khidmat continues to provide society with services and helps humanity. She termed former City Nazim, Advocate Naimatullah Khan as 'Fakhar-e-Pakistan' and said: "I wish the PPP also had personalities like Naimatullah Khan." She was of the view that the educational programmes of Al-Khidmat and JI are laudable efforts.
