The Lahore High Court has issued notice to chief secretary and home secretary Punjab in a petition challenging the appointment of Inspector General of Prison Punjab. The court also directed the law officer to ensure the presence of some senior officer along with relevant record on the next date of hearing to be fixed by the office.
