Pakistan beat Malaysia in DG Rangers Squash final

Final of 6th DG Rangers (Sindh) International Junior Open Squash Championship 2012 was played between Pakistan's Asim Khan (Pakistan) and Muhammad Amir of (Malaysia) at Sindh Rangers Jahangir Khan Squash Complex, here on Saturday. Asim Khan played excellent shots to clinch the title by defeating Malaysian counterpart 3 sets to 1.
Corps Commander Lieutenant General Muhammad Ijaz Chaudhry was the chief guest on the occasion. He also gave away prizes to the winners and runners up of each category. In girls U-15 category Madina Zafar (Sindh) winner Ms Fatmous (Sri Lanka) runner up. Girls U-19 Sadia Gul (KPK) winner, Samar Anjum (Pb) runner up. Boys U-11 Haris (Pb) winner, Rashid (KPK) runner up. U-13 Abbas (KPK) winner, Uzair (Pb) runner up. U-15 Sumaid (Pb) winner Faizan (PAF) runner. U-17 Dareen Chan (Malaysia) winner, Al-Nike Ali (Malaysia) runner. The event was played from October 15 to 20, 2012 with a prize money of $11,000.
