Excise and Taxation Department has recovered 320kg Charas and arrested two accused and impounded two trucks. According to details, on special directives of Provincial Minister for Excise and Taxation Mukesh Kumar Chawla a special team constituted headed by Zulfiqar Ali Shaikh ETI.
The team intercepted a truck No. PKB 351 near Marhaba Station National Highway Ghotki the team found 120kg Charas hidden in parts of the truck. An accused Nazar Muhammad resident of Pasheen Quetta was arrested and truck was impounded. A case has been registered and investigations are underway.
In an another raid, Easharat Hussain Khushk detected truck No TKC-611 near Bhattai Petrol Pump Kandiyaro and recovered 200kg Charas hidden in different parts of the truck and arrested the accused Dar Khan a resident of Saryab Road Quetta. Truck has been impounded and investigations are in progress. Provincial Minister Mukesh Kumar Chawla while appreciating the efficiency of the department vowed to continue his struggle against drugs.-PR
