KARACHI: State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan (SLIC) and Arif Habib Limited (AHL) have teamed up in a first-of-its-kind partnership between an insurance company and an investment house to promote an insurance and savings culture.

At a signing ceremony held at AHL’s Karachi headquarters, SLIC and AHL formalized their partnership where AHL will facilitate the distribution of SLIC’s best in class insurance products and services. The agreement was signed by Shoaib Javed Hussain, CEO of SLIC and Shahid Ali Habib, CEO of AHL.

Shoaib Javed highlighted the significance of the partnership, stating, “SLIC has always been at the forefront in transforming the insurance sector. It is a pleasure to announce the strategic partnership between AHL and SLIC as it brings together two leading organizations with a shared vision of enduring inclusion and protection for the people of Pakistan across all strata of society with the goal of increasing economic activity”.

Shahid Ali Habib, said that “This partnership represents a strategic collaboration between State Life and Arif Habib, with the aim of spreading awareness and providing access of insurance products to the general public to protect them financially against any unforeseen events and also contribute to the deepening of financial markets.”
