KARACHI: The local gold market on in Monday posted a slight gain, as the global bullion value is hovering at $2400 an ounce, traders said.

At the week start, gold prices inched up by just Rs200 and Rs172 to reach Rs252, 700 per tola and Rs216, 650 per 10 grams, respectively. On the world market, bullion value grew by $4 to $2390 an ounce with silver standing at $28 an ounce, traders quoted.
