LAHORE: The Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) has begun imposing heavy fines on businesses that fail to install the Electronic Invoice Monitoring System (e-IMS).

On directions from Chairman Nauman Yousaf, the Authority has imposed PKR 100,000 fines on several five-star hotels. Meanwhile, these hotels have been granted one month to complete the system installation.
