HYDERABAD: According to a statement by Furqan Ahmed Lodhi, Secretary General of the Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders & Small Industry and Returning Officer of the Election Commission for 2024-2026, a total of 25 candidates had submitted their nomination papers for the 20 vacant seats of the Executive Committee.
Out of these, five candidates, Muhammad Irfan Memon, Syed Aamir Iqbal Jafri, Abdul Rehman Rajput, Faisal Khilji and Syed Faraz Ali Shah, have withdrawn their nomination papers.
As a result, the remaining 20 candidates, including Muhammad Akram Ansari, Saleemuddin Qureshi, Muhammad Saleem Memon, Muhammad Shahid Qaim Khani, Kishan Chand, Shan Elahi Sehgal, Chaudhry Muhammad Aslam, Suhail Ahmed Qureshi, Muhammad Iqbal Motlani, Nazir Muhammad Ghori, Akbar Ali, Ahmed Idrees Chohan, Dr Muhammad Yousuf, Muhammad Asghar Khan Khilji, Moiz Abbas, Ashfaq Ahmed, Muhammad Al-Nasir, Muhammad Shareef Punjani, Muhammad Sanawwar Qureshi and Shaikh Ghulam Rasool, have been unofficially declared unopposed and successful.
