Ugandan shilling stable, seen vulnerable after rate cut

KAMPALA: The Ugandan shilling traded stable on Tuesday, but was seen vulnerable after the central bank loosened its policy stance by shaving 25 basis points from its benchmark rate a day earlier, traders said.

Ugandan shilling broadly stable, to ease due to importer FX demand

At 0756 GMT commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,670/3,680, stable from Monday’s close.
