Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Barrister Masood Kausar has appealed to the countrymen to maintain unity and harmony in their ranks and files and refresh their spirit to be ready to offer any sacrifice for security and prosperity of the country. This he said in a message on the eve of Eid-ul-Azha. Complete text of the message is given below.
Eid-ul-Azha is observed in the memory of the supreme sacrifice; which the Holy Prophet Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) and his son Hazrat Ismail (A.S) have offered at the will of the Almighty Allah. This symbolic sacrifice reflects the spirit of both the Holy Prophets to submit to the will of the Almighty Allah. This also carries the message that Almighty Allah is very kind to mankind and appreciates those who surrender themselves to His will. Enabling the deserving and destitute to share the festivities of Eid-e-Qurban; the festival of sacrifices is indeed the core spirit of the Holy occasion which is up-held as the sacrosanct responsibility.
On this solemn occasion, I congratulate the countrymen in general and the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA in particular and taking advantage of this solemn occasion, I appeal to maintain unity and harmony in their ranks and files; refresh their spirit to be ready to offer any sacrifice for security and prosperity of the country.
