BEIJING: China imported 11.37 million metric tons of soybeans in September, customs data showed on Monday, rising about 59% from a year ago.

Total soy imports in the first nine months of the year were up 8.1% year-on-year at 81.85 million tons, the General Administration of Customs data showed.
