Sohaib Maqsood has powered Multan Sultans to a massive 185 runs in the crunch game against Peshawar Zalmi at Sharjah on Tuesday.

Multan Sultans batting first posted a massive total on the board thanks to a bristling innings by Maqsood, who made 85 facing 42 deliveries.

They were off to a flyer after losing the toss as Kumar Sangakkara and Ahmed Shehzad posted 51 runs for the first wicket. The ever green Sanga lost his wicket after scoring classy 28.

On the other hand, Shehzad carried his form and made run a ball 37 before getting run out by Umaid Asif. Meanwhile, Shoaib played one of his best innings of his career, as he smoked unbeaten 85 runs with help of seven towering sixers and four boundaries.

Sultans made 183 runs on loss of three wickets.

Laim Dawson and Umaid Asif picked up a wicket each of Zalmi.
