The after tax profit of Hub Power Company has increased to Rs 2.113 billion in the quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 1.240 billion in the same quarter in 2011. The board of directors of the company in its meeting held on Wednesday declared that the company's earning per share has increased to Rs 1.83 in the period under review against Rs 1.07 in the same quarter last year.
According to the financial results sent to the Karachi Stock Exchange, the company's turnover increased to Rs 48.316 billion in this quarter against Rs 40.718 billion in the same quarter last year. The operating costs increased to Rs 44.296 billion against Rs 37.626 billion.
