PFF honours Guinness World Record holder

Football Heading World Record set by Daniel Gill and Qamar Rizwan during the Punjab Youth Festival has given a message to the entire world that our youth is capable enough to achieve the task whatever it will be assigned and prove the world that there is no dearth of talent and brilliance in the country and its youth. This was stated by secretary general PFF Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi during a meeting with Daniel Gill and Qamar Rizwan on Thursday.
Both set a new Guinness World Record for heading a football between them, managing consecutive 335 headers in three minutes 45 seconds. Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) also presented souvenirs to them. Daniel Gill and Qamar Rizwan are football coach by profession and are associated with a local football academy.
Gill has come from a well-known and respectable football family. He started football in 1970 and played for U-14, U-16 and U-18 for Bata Football Club. He also participated in SAFF Games Islamabad in 1989. He appeared for coaching course during the year 2007 for C certificate course. Qamar Rizwan who hails from Chak 59 EB of Tehsil Arifwala of District Pak Pattan is a "C" Certified coach and associated with local football club since 2009.
