The banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesman Ihsanullah Ihsan on Friday said in order to topple the government of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), the Taliban have decided to target the MQM activists. In an email message to INP, Ihsanullah Ihsan said the TTP is following the teachings of Islamic Shariah so it is obligatory on the fighters of TTP to fight against MQM, which has imposed a reign of terror in Karachi. He said to avenge the killing of citizens of Karachi, TTP will not spare the MQM members at any cost.
Ihsan asked the leaders of the Balochistan and Sindh-based separatist organisations -Baloch Liberation Army and Sindh Liberation Army, to continue their struggle for their due rights against the incumbent government. The TTP spokesman urged all the judges, including the Chief Justice of Pakistan to work for the implementation of Shariah in Pakistan.
He said the TTP will formulate its course of action for the forthcoming general elections after the announcement of elections by the government. "The TTP will divide the political parties in Pakistan into three categories in their future strategy for the next general elections," Ihsan said.
