Two bombs defused in Wana

The security forces on Saturday defused two bombs planted at Gomal Zam road, two kilometres from here. According to details, the Khassadar Force officials noticed two improvised explosive devices (IEDs) planted at the roadside near Pakistan Hotel, South Waziristan Agency, and informed the political administration.
The political administration called the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) officials, who defused both the bombs. During the process the Wana-Dera Ismail Khan Road was blocked for four hours. It merits mentioning here that an IED blast occurred on the same road two days ago, but that did not cause any damage.
