Chief Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the suicide blast in the Dagar area of Buner in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province resulting in the death of Aman Lashkir Head Fateh Khan and his guards. He called it a cowardly act of terrorism and expressed grief on the killings of Fateh Khan and his guards in the suicide attack.
He demanded that President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, and Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik take serious notice of the killing of Fateh Khan and bring all the perpetrators swiftly to justice. He said that a concerted effort should be made against terrorism, and such suicide blasts should be condemned by all political and religious parties by setting aside all expediencies.
He said that the blood of the people killed in terrorism would not be in vain, and that the nation would, one day, extirpate terrorism from the country. Altaf Hussain expressed sympathies to the bereaved families and prayed to Allah to shower His blessings on the souls of the people killed in the blast.
