Three suspects nabbed in separate raids

Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) on Saturday claimed to have nabbed three felons in separate raids at various parts of the metropolis. According to DSP Zameer Abbasi, Defence police during snap checking intercepted two suspects riding on a bike in the Defence area. Reacting on police action, the alleged bandits opened indiscriminate fire to escape but failed. Resultantly, they were nabbed with two TT pistols and a snatched bike. He said that both detained persons were involved in several street crimes. Further investigations were underway.
Similarly, the City Railway police claimed to have recovered a huge quantity of stolen train parts from a warehouse located in Hijrat colony. According to SSP Irshad Kamal, the City Railway police on a tip-off conducted a raid at a place which seemed to be warehouse located in Hijrat colony and recovered a huge quantity of stolen parts of trains worth millions of rupees. He said that the police had also taken a man namely Ikram into custody from a warehouse. A case was registered and further investigation was in progress.
