Punjab government has extended the contract appointment period of Chairman Punjab Information Technology Board Dr Umer Saif for one year. According to an official on Saturday, the contract has been extended with effect from November 1 to October 31. A notification was issued by S&GAD in this regard.
Meanwhile, Lahore Development Authority Director General Ahad Khan Cheema has suspended Muhammad Pervez Naveed, Director Engineering, Wasa, with immediate effect on account of will-full absence from duty without prior approval from the competent authority. He has further been directed to mark his attendance in Directorate of Administration Wasa, LDA.
