Allegations against IHC Judge rejected

Malik Noor Zaman Khan, a tribal elder has rejected the allegations levelled against the Islamabad High Court Justice Mohammad Azeem Khan Afridi, called for a judicial inquiry to unearth the ground realities. Addressing at a press conference at Peshawar Press Club, he said the Justice Mohammad Azeem Khan had elevated in Islamabad High Court on seat served for Federally Administrated Tribal Areas in 2011.
However, he said that the baseless allegations against Justice Mohamamd Azeem Afridi had stopped its regularisation during meeting of Judicial Commission in Islamabad. He said the Justice Azeem Afridi had no role in recruitment of Niaz Mohammad Jan as Registrar Islamabad High Court, corruption in procurement of equipments.
He said the Justice Azeem Afridi is an honest person, and no corruption charges proved against him during his 20 years service. Therefore, we strongly condemn the groundless allegations against him, demanding for probe against the fabricated accusations, he deplored. He said that if any allegations proved against the Justice Mohamamd Azeem Afridi, after conducting judicial inquiry, then he should be panellised accordance to the law.
