Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) Chairman Muhammad Ali to participate in the World Economic Forum in India from November 6-8. It is learnt here on Monday that Indian state of Haryana was hosting the World Economic Forum and India summit from November 6-8 in Gurgaon, a town close to New Delhi. The three-day summit, 'From Deliberation to Transformation', will be held in Gurgaon in partnership with the World Economic Forum, which is engaging leaders from various sectors to shape global, regional and industry agenda.
About 600 participants, including around 150 from around the globe are expected to attend the summit. SECP Chairman Muhammad Ali is also attending the summit and will also moderate a session 'Financing Next-Generation Corporations' on Wednesday, November 7. In the session, the panellists will discuss the dimensions for financial providers to effectively and efficiently serve next-generation companies. SECP spokesman Imran Ghaznavi was also there to report about SECP Chairman's contribution and activities in the summit, SECP added.
