A mother hailing from district Swabi sought the justice from police high-ups and the Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court (PHC) to arrest the killer of her son, who was mercilessly killed over a petty dispute.
Addressing at a news conference at Peshawar Press Club on Tuesday, Mother Umia Begum said that her 16-year old son Taimur, student of Grade-X had received a message of accused Wisal Khan via his mobile on January 30th, asking him to visit his home.
She said a girl Muniba d/o Wisal, wanted to marry with his son by force despite the huge age difference between his son and Muniba. Ms Umai Begum informed that Muniba had falsely fallen love with her son to get rid from another overage man, who also wanted to marry with her. But, she said there was huge difference of age between Muniba and Taimur.
However, she said his son went there, Wisal Khan started mercilessly torching and beating Taimur for five hours and dumped his dead body in a meadow, a two-meter away from Wisal house. Ms Umia said they had registered a case against Wisal Khan in Police station Chotta Lahore, district Swabi.
Though, she said the police had arrested the killer Wisal Khan and released on bail after 18 days.
She alleged that Wisal Khan had given bribe to police and doctor to replace death report of her son. She claimed that the accused were still threatening her for dire consequences if she were not ready for reconciliation with the bereaved family.
