Secretary Provincial Transport Authority Punjab, Chaudhry Muhammad Asad has taken notice of the non-implementation of the new fare schedule in the province and said that special teams have been constituted in Lahore and other districts for its implementation and it is being ensured that new fare schedule is displayed in all bus stands.
He directed Lahore Transport Company and Secretaries Regional Transport Authority of all the districts to monitor transport operating in all cities and ensure that new fare rate is charged on all city and inter-city routes and stern action should be taken against the violators.
