PML-N women wing launches process to select coordinators

Central General Secretary, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Women Wing and MPA, Shazia Aurangzeb on Wednesday said that a process of nominating party co-ordinators and organisers at the UC and Tehsil level had been launched in different parts of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
According to which, she said they had selected four female senior workers, including Dr Imtiaz Sultana Bokhari, Dr Shahida, Safia Israr, and Saleema Ikram in the Peshawar division, while a section of organisers had also been made in the Hazara division, wherein Shumaila from Haripur, Aamira Noreen of Abbottabad, and Azra were selected as organisers.
Addressing the press conference at the Peshawar Press Club, MPA Shazia Aurangzeb said that the process would also be carried out in different UCs, and Teshils of district Peshawar, Charssada, Swabi, Mardan, Malakand Division and southern districts of the province.
She further revealed that the central leadership had already launched an organising party at the UC and Tehsil level in thee Punjab provinces, while the process would also be initiated in the Sindh, Balochistan province and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. She gave the assurance that the party would select a competent and eligible candidate for the co-ordinator and organiser slot, saying that merit was strictly followed in this selection process.
Regarding the dispute over the PML-N wing's provincial president and general secretary, she again clarified that the party had yet to finalise the names of the women wing cabinet in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. MPA Shazia Auranzeb said that the PML-women wing would be strengthened under the guidance of the patron-in-chief Ms Mariam Nawaz Sharif, and he expressed full confidence in her leadership.
