Two oil tankers entered Afghanistan via the Torkham border crossing on Wednesday after a year-long suspension of Nato oil supplies. Strict security arrangements were made in this regard. Nato supplies were suspended after US aircraft bombed the Salala check post in Mohmand Agency in November last year.
"Two oil tankers safely crossed the Pakistan-Afghan borders on Wednesday," political administration officials said. The officials urged the authorities to ensure the movement of Nato supplies in accordance with a fixed schedule to avoid any attacks.
