12 persons fall prey to violence in Karachi

Al least 12 persons, a policeman among them, were killed in different incidents of violence in the Sindh metropolis on Thursday.
The policeman, identified as Muhammad Nazeer, 49, was shot dead by two armed men riding a motorcycle near Al Asif Square in the limits of Sohrab Goth Police station. The body was shifted to Abbassi Shaheed Hospital for medico-lega formalities. Deceased was deployed in Sohrab goth at police station.
Two men, Najam Abbas and Nasir Abbas, were gunned down in Sector 4 of Orangi Town in the limits of Pirabad police station. The bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
A man named Sanaullah, 34, was gunned down in Dalmia Society in the limits of Aziz Bhatti police station. Police attributed the murder on a personal dispute. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for autopsy. Police deceased was affiliated with a Lyari gang.
Badshah, 37, was shot dead in the Rasheedbad area in the limits of SITE 'B' police station. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
Sikandar was shot dead because of a personal feud in the Gulshan-e-Sikandar area falling under the jurisdiction of Jackson police station. The body was moved to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK).
Wajiullah was shot dead by armed pillion riders in Khairabad falling in the jurisdiction of Manghopir police station.
Zahid shah, 43, was gunned down in Khuada-Ki-Basti in the jurisdiction of Surjani police station.
Nadir was gunned down at near Billy's Arcade on the University Road in the limits of Sachal police station on late Thursday night. The deceased lived in the Jauhar Complex.
Hafiz Mohammad Naseem, 30, was shot and killed in Gulshan-e-Bihar in the limits of Pakistan Bazar police station.
A woman, identified as Wali Izat, was killed in the Raerhi Goth area in the limits of Quiadabad police station.
