Secretary General, Jamaat-i-Islami Pakistan, Liaqat Baloch, on Malala Day on Saturday, has demanded of the US to end intervention in the region and pull out its forces for the sake of peace in the region. He said that hundreds of innocent people including women and children had been killed in drone attacks on Pakistani soil. He said the drone strikes should be stopped and the international community must feel its negligence over the violation of human rights and international laws.
He further demanded that the US should avoid supporting India for initiating subversive activities in Pakistan and the international community should play its role to solve the Kashmir issue in accordance with the UN resolutions. Liaqat Baloch demanded of the government to recover the missing persons and take the path of result oriented and peaceful dialogue for solving political and economical issues.
He was of the opinion that the government should act upon Parliament resolutions in order to get rid of US intervention in the domestic affairs. "The anti-education policies be ended and strict measures be taken against the anti-education elements," he further demanded.
