Malala Day celebrated in Sindh Assembly

World Malala Yousufzai Day was observed in the Sindh Assembly which was attended by Speaker Nisar Khuhro, famous playwright Fatima Surraya Bajiya, and students. The participants condemned the shooting of Malala as a teenaged girl, who served for the betterment of female education in the Swat valley. Nisar Khuhro also called her shooters "inhuman".
Fatima Surraya Bajiya praised Malala for her bold steps against militants. Students performed drama to pay homage to Malala Yousufzai and sang songs in her praise. She is now in Birmingham, UK for medical treatment, as doctors said she is recovering from head injury.
