People want employment, peace, energy instead of revolutions: Anwar

Provincial President Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and Member Provincial Assembly (MPA), Anwar Saifullah Khan said on Sunday that people of Khyber-Pakthunkhwa want employment, electricity, peace and development instead of revolutions.
He said that PPP after coming into power will address these issues for socio-economic emancipation of poor strata. "The people of Khyber-Pakthunkhwa do not have interest in politics of revolutions, instead they needed jobs, peace, electricity and development in their province," he said while addressing public gathering at Saray e Norung in district Lakki Marwat.
After coming into power, he said, PPP would give top priority in establishment of durable peace, addressing menace of load shedding, provide jobs to youth, better health and education services and poverty alleviation in Khyber-Pakthunkhwa.
Anwar Saifullah Khan said political juggler are again come out with catchy slogans of brining revolutions, would face people's wrath in the upcoming elections.
Today, he said, Pakthoons are confronted with great challenges of terrorism, militancy, poverty and other socio-economic issues and PPP if voted to power will give special focus on addressing these issues for their socio-economic emancipation.
He said Pakthoons have rendered great sacrifices for the motherland and no one would be allowed to play with their sentiments and make politics on their heads.
He said PPP is a popular political party of the country and Azad Jammu and Kashmir and whenever Pakistan is confronted with challenges power is given to it.
The veteran politician said PPP leadership and workers have always come for the rescue of their countrymen and have taken out Pakistan of every difficult situation towards new heights of glory.
The PPP KP President said PPP led government has given identity to Pakhtoons, provincial autonomy, restored the Constitution in its original form and established government's writ in Swat.
Anwar Saifullah Khan said PPP after coming into power will give special focus on completion of uncompleted projects besides expediting pace of development in Khyber-Pakthunkhwa.
Work on repair of transformers workshop at Saray e Narung costing Rs 2 billion are underway that after completion would provide massive relief to masses, he remarked. After creation of fault in the transformers, he said, people of Saray e Narung and Lakki Marwat have suffered great problems as transformers are being shifted to Nowshera for repair work.
