Two-Day "Fun Fair" organised by Laboratory Girls High School (LGHS) University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, concluded on Wednesday with colourful cultural programme in Iqbal Auditorium of the University. Professor Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan, Vice Chancellor was the Chief Guest of closing ceremony.
Addressing the participants Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan said that UAF Laboratory School Systems has been upgraded from secondary education to intermediate educational status and Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Faisalabad has also recognised it.
Professor Dr Khalil-ur-Rehman, Principal Officer Community college UAF while addressing the participants said that MPhil and PhD teaching staff has been recruited for the Intermediate classes initiated first time in Laboratory Schools Systems. He maintained that chain of laboratory school system would be extended in couple of years.
Headmistress LGHS Mrs Tasneem Zubair highlighted the achievements of School in curricular and Extra Curricular activities and said that character building and capacity enhancement are main focus in the system. She hoped that this Fun Fair would be the source of inspiration for junior students in order to equip themselves with extreme confidence and innovations.
