Tony Blair Faith Foundation UK under its global education programme Face to Faith run in 20 countries and five continents has awarded 10 Pakistani schools. The City School Bhit Shah, Elegance School Quetta, Al-Sadiq Grammar School Quetta, Government Girls School Qasimabad, Government Girls Pilot (Miran) School Hyderabad, Government Girls Model Higher Secondary School GOR Colony Hyderabad, Gul Ursani School, Syed Panah Ali Shah Model School, Government High School Bhit Shah and Government High School Karam Khan Nizamani.
The above schools are the part of the video conferencing and social action programmes since 2009. Most of the schools receiving International Award belong to government sector and they have proved that they are Model Schools.
Country Co-ordinator of Face to Faith, Danish Jatoi shared that head teachers and teachers of awarded schools really deserve great appreciation for preparing their students for International Video Conferencing and Dialogue/ Blog writing. Since 2009 the students of these schools have done video conferencing with USA, UK, Palestine, India, Philippines, Australia, Jordan, Lebanon and Canada. Besides video conferences the students are participating in international days including Peace Day, Women Day, Human Rights Day, Older People and World Malaria Day. The objective of Tony Blair Faith Foundation is to educate young people globally so that they can become an ambassador. Their own faith and believe to serve the humanity by removing the stereo types from their minds.
