An anti-Gilani demonstration was staged at Chowk Nawan Shehr by the people for implicating an innocent youth Samiullah alias Qari in a murder case of Malik Sher Ali Buccha of PPP who was assassinated allegedly by his son on property dispute. The demo was led by Samiullah's father Malik Ghulam Hussain Buccha and brother Shiraz Buccha.
They were carrying placards and banners inscribed with slogans, "save the life of innocent youth Samiullah", former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and his sons who were providing shelter to the killer and they made him" complainant" instead of the accused.
"They threatened to stage a demonstration in front of the Supreme Court along with their family, if Sami was not released. They told newsmen that Malik Sher Ali Buccha, a PPP leader was shot dead when he was entering his residence on November 24,2011.They said that eye witnesses confirmed that he was assassinated by the son when he refused to transfer land property to him because he married his old class-fellow leaving his family wife at Multan.
