Punjab, Bihar CMs exchange experiences in social progress

The ceremony regarding exchange of experiences about progress in social sector, between Punjab and Indian Province Bihar was held at Government College University Lahore on Thursday. Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and Chief Minister of Indian Province Bihar Nateesh Kumar, presented before the students their vision and social programme.
Punjab Chief Minister divulged the performance of the Punjab government with regard to education, health, infrastructure and transport sectors. Punjab CM Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif talking to the Indian Chief Minister of Bihar said that "you are a socialist leader and want welfare of the people, while I am an Islamic socialist with the same objective." The CM recited various couplets of Allama Iqbal on the occasion as well.
Bihar CM Nateesh Kumar on the occasion said that he had been greatly impressed by the youth-oriented development programme of Punjab CM, and would introduce such reforms in his province of Bihar as well. He said that he saluted Shahbaz Sharif for his successful policies.
Talking about the steps of his government in Bihar, CM Nateesh Kumar said that good governance was the top most priority of his government, due to which Bihar government had achieved record success in education, health and law and order sectors. He said Punjab CM Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif was also following the similar programme. Nateesh Kumar invited Punjab CM to visit Bihar and said that during his stay in the last six days in Pakistan, he had not felt as stranger. Vice Chancellor Dr Khaliq-uz-Zaman paid rich tributes to the education-friendly policies of Punjab CM and said Shahbaz Sharif, who was an old Ravian, had introduced revolutionary reforms in the education sector.
